SHUN RETREAT
Join our immersive silent retreat for deep inner reset centered on breath, movement, and awareness
Stress, emotional experiences, and repeated mental and emotional patterns shape how the body holds itself — in muscle tension, breathing habits, posture, and nervous system activity. Over time, these patterns settle in. Movement becomes less fluid, emotional responses repeat themselves, and perception begins to narrow. What is often felt as heaviness is accumulated tension that has not fully released.
What you feel is not random. The body reflects how you have been living and responding.
Working with these imprints requires more than understanding them intellectually. It requires direct engagement with the systems through which they are maintained — the body, the breath, and attention. When these begin to work together — when breath, movement, and awareness are no longer separate — the system starts to shift out of familiar loops and opens to new ways of responding.

SHUN’s approach is designed as one integrated system working across four dimensions of your experience — physical body, emotional patterns, energetic flow, and awareness. Each is approached through specific practices, allowing changes to happen not only in how you think, but in how you feel, move, and experience yourself moment to moment.
Through Qigong, Yoga, and GYROKINESIS® Movement System, the body is invited back into fluid movement — reducing accumulated tension, restoring range, and creating a sense of internal space. Through Breathe to Ease, breathwork meets dynamic meditation, allowing the breath to move through areas of holding and support natural release without force. Through meditation, attention becomes more stable and less entangled, allowing thoughts and emotions to be experienced without immediate reaction.
This retreat is for those who recognize accumulated tension, recurring emotional and mental patterns, or a growing distance from a clear and easeful way of being.
SHUN RETREAT
Five full days of devoted practice
Over five full days, you will work directly with body, breath, and attention through a carefully held sequence of practices. The structure moves between activation, observation, and integration, allowing the system to gradually release what it has been holding without overwhelm.
The environment is in the nature and intentionally simple. With fewer external distractions, attention can settle more easily, and sensitivity to the body and breath naturally increases. This is a grounded immersion that supports a genuine shift in how you experience your body, your mind, and your inner space.
Duration:
5 full days of practice, excluding arriving and departing days.
Check-in: October 8, 2026, 1 pm
Check-out: October 14, 2026, 11 am
Daily Hours:
5:00 am to 9:00 pm, with rest and integration woven throughout
Format:
5 hrs of meditation. 4.5 hrs of movement. 1.5 hrs of dynamic meditation & breathwork
Benefits
1. Restoring movement capacity and reducing physical strain
(through movement systems — yoga, Qigong, and GYROKINESIS® Expansion System)
You will work with movement practices designed to improve how the body organizes itself in motion. This includes spinal articulation, joint mobility, and how force and weight are distributed through the body.
Over time, you may notice:
• reduction in unnecessary muscular tension (neck, shoulders, jaw, lower back)
• improved mobility in the spine and major joints
• better coordination between different parts of the body
• less reliance on compensatory patterns that create strain or pain
The result is a body that moves with greater efficiency, support, and fluidity — requiring less effort to perform the same actions.
2. Re-patterning breathing and regulating the nervous system
(through breathwork and Breathe to Ease)
You will work directly with breathing patterns as a functional system. Many people arrive with irregular, shallow, or effort-driven breathing linked to stress responses.
Through practice, breathing becomes:
• slower and more consistent
• less controlled by effort
• more synchronized with movement and internal state
This shift supports nervous system regulation, reducing baseline stress activation and allowing the body to settle out of chronic alertness.
3. Developing awareness of internal patterns
(through meditation and integrated practice)
You will begin to observe how physical tension, emotional responses, and mental activity are connected.
This includes recognizing:
• where the body contracts in response to stress or thought
• how emotions are held or avoided
• how repetitive thinking patterns are triggered and sustained
This is not theoretical — it is directly observed through repeated practice.
4. Loosening habitual mental loops and emotional holding
As awareness becomes more stable, the tendency to automatically engage with thoughts or react to internal triggers begins to reduce.
You may notice:
• less compulsion to follow repetitive thinking
• emotional responses arising and settling without escalation
• physical holding patterns softening as mental control decreases
This is where the work shifts from doing to allowing — where patterns are no longer reinforced and can begin to release.
5. Establishing a different baseline of experience
As physical strain reduces, breathing regulates, and mental reactivity softens, your overall state begins to change.
Many participants experience:
• a quieter internal environment (less noise, less urgency)
• a greater sense of physical ease and internal space
• more stable attention and less fragmentation
• a return of natural responsiveness, rather than habitual reaction

Supranee Janthapaiboonkajon
Supranee Janthapaiboonkajon spent more than two decades in senior leadership within international luxury retail before her path turned inward, giving her direct insight into how sustained pressure shapes the body, breath, and nervous system.

Her own healing became her education. Through formal training and years of practice across yoga, breathwork, Qigong, somatic movement, and GYROKINESIS® Expansion System, she developed a grounded understanding of how internal patterns are formed and can be consciously met.

Within SHUN, she holds the overall vision and structure, weaving the modalities into a coherent process that deepens awareness and supports a more direct experience of oneself.
The SHUN retreat is guided by a team of teachers working from a shared understanding of the body and mind as an integrated system. We come together as a teaching team through a shared respect for the intelligence of the body, the power of the mind, and the role of awareness in revealing and loosening habitual patterns that lead to suffering.

While each brings a distinct area of expertise — movement, structural work, breathwork, and meditation — the approach is not divided. The practices are designed to work together, forming a coherent process rather than separate techniques.
SHUN Teachers
Yaara Kroin
Yaara Kroin is a GYROKINESIS® Master Trainer and GYROTONIC® Pre-Trainer within the GYROTONIC® Expansion System®, and an international teacher of movement.

Originally trained as a dancer, her path shifted through injury, leading to a deeper understanding of recovery and the body. Since 2007, she has undertaken extensive advanced training in spinal function, joint health, and fascial organization.

Her teaching integrates movement, breath, and awareness to restore mobility and the body’s natural intelligence, with emphasis on rhythm, continuity, and spinal articulation.
Within SHUN, she brings precision to the structural and therapeutic dimension, supporting the physical foundation for sustained practice.
Eidan Karpovski
Eidan Karpovski is a yoga teacher with a foundation in Vinyasa and a focus on fascia and functional movement.

He approaches movement as a system — guiding students to sense connection, improve coordination, and refine how effort is distributed through the body.

His teaching balances structure and exploration, supporting both technical clarity and embodied perception.

Within SHUN, his role is to prepare both body and mind for practice — reducing internal resistance and improving prana distribution, so the system can settle naturally into stillness.
Come if you are ready to participate with devotion — to move, to breathe, to be in awareness.
Our immersive silent retreat is a grounded, supportive environment for genuine inner reset and conscious living. Step back from the noise and return to your natural lightness of being.
